How To: Put Nexuslive clips in your Myspace

Home » Blogs » The NEXUS Blog » How To: Put Nexuslive clips in your Myspace

It's very easy to get any of the Nexuslive shows or features embedded to play straight from your Myspace, Bebo or your own webpage. You're heartily encouraged to share, share, share away any of the videos on the site. Out aim is to get the show, and the bands on it seen by as many people out there as possible!

So...Step 1

Go to the show or feature video page that you want to embed on your own site. Click on the little plus sign to the right of the 'Embed this video' to the right of the video player (see pic below)

After you click there, a little box will appear with the beginnings of some website code (you don't need to understand this don't worry).

Step 2

The code in the newly appearing box is highlighted in blue automatically. You need to right-click on the text (or Control+Click on a Mac) and copy the text (see below)

Step 3

In this example we'll use the infamous Myspace as the destination page for the video clip, although the process is the same on most of he other social network sites out there.

Navigate to your Myspace profile editing page (you need to login, then click on 'Edit Profile') and paste the code in any of the text boxes, ideally above any text that's already in there. To paste just right-click in the text box and select 'Paste' (see below)

So that's it, pretty straightforward really. You can embed the code in the same way in the HTML of your webpage, so you don't even need a Myspace account (that's for all 4 of you guys)

If you have any problems send us a message through the contact form and we can help you out
